Tees Book!
We’re super excited to announce that we’ve been included in the book Tees, The Art of the T-shirt. It’s designed by the fine folks at MAKI, a small design and illustration studio based in Groningen, Netherlands. We couldn’t be more humbled and extremely excited to be included with a host of other amazing artists. I remember when we first started PopJunkie, and we’d admire all the t-shirt artists in books like 100% Cotton. There’s something about appearing in a book that is so validating. Thru Short Film
Earlier this year, a Director by the name of Chris Ewing contacted us about a short film he was making, called Thru, and wanted to see if we could donate some of our shirts to be used in the actual film. We read the synopsis and were really into it so we gladly sent off some of our shirts. After months of production, we finally got our hands on the DVD, and it was great. Treasure Island Music Festival

Bazaar Bizarre
We’re super excited that we’ve just been accepted to be part of the Bazaar Bizarre Indie Festival. It’s going to be at the San Francisco County Fair Building in Golden Gate park the weekend of December 12th and 13th, so it’s perfect timing for the holidays. We’ll fill you in on more details as the event approaches.

PopJunkie at Renegade Craft Fair
Hello Popjunkie friends! We hope you’re all having a great summer! We’ve been crazy busy the last couple months, printing new designs, sewing pillows, and coming up with some brand new products. They aren’t online yet, but we’re premiering everything at the Renegade Craft Fair this weekend! Style Lounge
We had a great time at last night’s Style Lounge. We were among a ton of great designers and even had our goods included in the fashion show. Check out the pics here. Oh, I almost forgot.. Thank you Sake2Me for supplying us with great Sake infused drinks all night long.

It’s been quiet around here!
We realize it’s been pretty quiet around here, and we promise, there’s a reason for it. We’re currently focusing our efforts on the redesign of our website and once that’s done with that, we’re going to release our new line which I anticipate will be closer to the summer. With the economy in the toilet, it seems to make sense to lay low for a bit while we regroup and really focus on the site and the new line. Thx for your patience.

I actually bought this book and it’s sitting on the coffee table right now. All my guests love it. It’s different, and is a great conversation starter.
